Location
Beer is a beautiful fishing village with lots to see and do. Naturally one of its biggest attractions is the safe, sheltered beach - an ideal spot for swimming, boating or just relaxing in the sun at one of the cafés on the pebbles.
Situated on the World Heritage Jurassic Coastline, Beer is a great destination for anyone who appreciates spectacular coastal scenery, and the range of interesting shops, restaurants, pubs and cafés make it an ideal setting for a completely relaxing break.
If you’re feeling active then there are four 18-hole golf courses within a nine-mile radius, as well as tennis courts, gym facilities and a scuba diving school.
Other attractions on the doorstep include the Donkey Sanctuary, Beer Quarry Caves, Seaton Tramway and Pecorama model railway exhibition. And if you feel like venturing further afield, Beer is an ideal jumping off point for day trips to the nearby centres of Exeter, Taunton, Sidmouth and Lyme Regis.
